About CSP
Who we are.
Est. 2010
Center Stage has been an active part of the Middle Tennessee performing arts scene for over a decade by providing performance opportunities, theatre classes, and summer camps. From its inception, CSP has been dedicated to providing high-quality, age-appropriate theatre education and entertainment to children and teens with year-round programming and classes, including audition workshops, stage acting, improvisational acting, fully-staged musical theatre productions, and monologue workshops.
CSP’s mission is to encourage kids in their confidence both on and off-stage, to provide a place where kids from all different walks of life find a common passion, and to let these kids have the time of their lives under the spotlights at "Center Stage!"
Our Team.
Candice spent her childhood performing in Texas and nationwide in vocal competitions and Vaudeville performances. After studying vocal performance at Southern Methodist University, she traveled the country with a worship band, leading worship at church conferences. Since making her move to Tennessee in 2006, Candice has been busy teaching children's theatre and has been actively involved in the Nashville theatre community both onstage and behind the scenes. Candice loves spending time with her husband and five kids and is a worship leader at Thompsons Station Church. She is passionate about creating a fun environment at Centre Stage where kids of all ages can experience the joy of live theatre.
